Dr.Aml Abd ElRahman was honored during the sixth environmental forum at the faculty of Faculty of Home Economics. Additionally, Ali one of the Foundation’s heroes has also been honored for winning three Gold medals at Special Olympics held in Abu Dhabi. Faculty Of Home Economics – Helwan University organized the sixth environmental forum titled “the role of home economics in supporting and empowering people with special needs”. Dr. Khalid El kady the acting Dean and Deputy of the faculty for environmental affairs and community service headed the forum. It is worth mentioning that the forum was under the patronage of Dr. Maged Negm the president of Helwan University and Dr.gamal shokry, the vice president for education and students affairs. The forum was held in the presence of Dr. Mona Attya, the vice president of graduate studies affairs, and Dr.Aml Abd ElRahman chairwoman of the board of trustees of Al-Sondos foundation for orphans with special need. The forum was also attended by Dr. Jehan frahat the president of the Egyptian Council for Creativity and Innovation and the head of the innovative women association. In addition to Dr. Sami Hassan El Brgemy the head of friends of talented people with special needs association and Dr. Mohamed Fauzey the chairman of Tariq’ Al Aml ( way of hope) care center for orphans with special needs. As well as a large number of public figures who are interested in this regard. Furthermore, Dr. Khalid El Kady honored Dr. Mona Attya, the vice president of Helwan University, Dr. Aml Abd ElRahman for leading role in the field of providing care for people with special needs, and number of chief departments of the faculty. Dr. Khalid El Kady has also honored Ali Alithy one of Al-Sondos Foundation children who won the gold medal in cycling during the National Special Olympics Competition held in Abu Dhabi. Some children from friends of talented people with special needs association were also honored for their show which gained the admiration and the respect of all the participants. Finally, Dr. Khalid honored the Nubian team who presented a show and set up a special day presenting the habits, food, songs and wedding of the Nuba.
