Al-Sondos Foundation organized a trip for a group of its children to Salah El-Din Citadel where they visited the mosques inside the castle, including (Mohamed Ali Mosque), and they also visited some museums (including the Museum of the Vehicles, the Military Museum), all of which are worth a visit as they contain a large number of rare artifacts. The children also got to improve their knowledge of history by seeing statues of some presidents of Egypt and some revolutionaries. They were introduced to some historical weapons and their development through the ages, and models of military clothes and statues of some kings in the Ottoman Empire. At the end of the trip, the children were very happy at the end of the trip as they got to increase their knowledge admiration for the castle, and they also took some photos to keep such happy memory
