The Sondos Foundation for Orphans with Special Needs, Fifth Settlement Branch, headed by Dr. Amal Abdel Rahman Saleh, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, organized the “Egypt is the Light of My Eyes” celebration under the slogan “My hands are in your hands, we choose right – share your opinion.”
This came with the participation of the East Nasr City Administration for Social Affairs, in the presence of Ms. Mona Shehna, Director General of the Administration, some associations, and the work team of the East Nasr City Administration, and in the presence of Mr. Siham Al-Wardji, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Sondos Foundation for Orphans with Special Needs, members of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, and a group of sons of the Sondos Foundation in its branches. Various events in Nasr City, Heliopolis, the Fifth Settlement, and the Foundation’s work team, with media coverage by Nahr Al Amal magazine.

Dr. Amal Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sondos Foundation for Orphans with Special Needs, expressed her happiness with the beautiful day that brings together two goals: (love for the country and supporting children by honoring outstanding students) and an emphasis on raising our children’s awareness of political awareness and awareness of what is happening in the world and the Arab world with public events and their participation in opinion, and that the main goal is It is to create a conscious generation that can share opinions and thoughts.

She also thanked the East Nasr City Administration for Social Affairs, Mona Shihna, Director General of the Administration, the members of the Board of Trustees of the Sondos Foundation, all the employees of the Foundation in all its departments, and the children, as they are the reason for everyone’s happiness.

During her speech, she praised that Egypt has a conscious political leadership that preserves the country, the people, the families, and the children. She affirmed her full support for the political leaders, and also wished for the spread of security, goodness, and peace throughout the country and for all the children of the world.

Meanwhile, Ms. Mona Shehna, Director General of the East Nasr City Department of Social Affairs, expressed her happiness to be among the children of the Sondos Foundation for orphans with special needs, and that Sondos is a large edifice and an intellectual, methodological educational institution with a great deal of science and culture.

She thanked Dr. Amal Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sondos Foundation, for hosting the children of the rest of the houses in the celebration, and this confirms that the goal is the same and that everyone is our children. She praised the performances made by the Sondos children and that Egypt is full of its children.

She thanked the employees of the East Nasr City Administration for their efforts to develop civil society and care for children with a clear goal, which is to build children’s minds.

The celebration aims to enhance belonging to the homeland and educate children about the foundations of participation in elections so that they are connected to their homelands, as children are the future. The children of the Sondos Foundation for orphans with special needs presented a group of dazzling and patriotic artistic performances and parades in support of the presidential elections in a simplified way for children. The children also presented a wonderful artistic performance in support of Palestine, emphasizing their Arab affiliation.

The celebration concluded by honoring the Sondos children who excelled in memorizing the Qur’an and excelled athletically, artistically, and academically. A group of distinguished children from the East Nasr City Department of Social Affairs were also honored from the various associations in the administration.
