Yesterday, on the 17th of Ramadan 1439, Al-Sondos Foundation for orphans with special needs in cooperation with Sharjah Charity International in the United Arab Emirates have held a ceremony to honor the highly motivated and determined employees with special needs from AL-Sondos Foundation, their mothers, and a number of the outstanding sons of the foundation.
The ceremony was held in the presence of the Supervisory Committee, the press, along with the volunteers who are interested in supporting and caring for people with special needs. The ceremony was headed by Dr. Aml Abd El-Rahman Saleh the chairwoman of the board of trustees of AL-Sondos Foundation. We are also honored by the presence of AL Sheikh Mohammed Hamdan Al Zari Director of Guarantees and Projects Sharjah Charity international in the United Arab Emirates and Mr. khairy Imam the director manager of the social affair administration.
The ceremony started by taking the respected gathering on an inspective tour around the Al-Sondos complex for orphans with special needs at the fifth settlement. After the tour, they had iftar dinner accompanied by the children, then Abd El-Rahman and Essam, children from AL-Sondos Foundation, recited verses from Qur’an. Furthermore, Dr. Aml Abd El-Rahman Saleh delivered a speech welcoming the guests followed by the speech of AL Sheikh Mohammed Hamdan and the speech of Mr. khairy Imam. The ceremony continued the program with shows of the children singing some national and religion songs. Until the ceremony has completed the program by honoring the employees’ mothers with special needs from the foundation as well as honoring the distinguished employees with special needs, and the sons of the Foundation.
